As expected, Apple has just seeded the first version of iOS 6 beta to developers of iOS Developer Program.
Apple unveiled iOS 6 at today’s WWDC 2012 Keynote address. It includes over 200 new features including an all-new 3D Maps app, a new Passbook app, improved Siri and Facebook Integration.
The build number of iOS 6 beta is 10A5316K, so the iOS 6 download links that were leaked yesterday were indeed the real deal.
iOS 6 beta is available for the following iOS devices:
- iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS
- iPad 3 (the new iPad), iPad 2
- iPod touch 4G
Please note that iOS 6 beta is meant only for developers as devices updated to iOS 6 beta can not be restored to earlier versions of iOS. You will be able to only upgrade to future beta releases and the final iOS 6 software when it is release in fall.
We expect iOS 6 beta to reveal tons of features, which Apple didn’t showcase at today’s event, so stay tuned here at iPhone Hacks or join our Facebook Fan pageor follow us on Twitter or subscribe to our RSS feed to find out about the hidden features.
