Apple released iOS 8.2 update last week, which includes Health app improvements, stability enhancements and bug fixes.
However, like the iOS 8.1.3 update, it is yet to be jailbroken, and since Apple has stopped signing iOS 8.1.2 firmware file, there is currently no way to jailbreak your device if its on iOS 8.1.3 or iOS 8.2.
Apple patched several vulnerabilities in iOS 8.1.3, and patched another vulnerability in iOS 8.2 used in the TaiG iOS 8 – iOS 8.1.2 jailbreak.
Stefan Esser aka i0n1c, well-known hacker and security expert speculates that based on the timing of the 2015 Mobile Security Summit that takes place on March 27, the TaiG team may release the eagerly awaited iOS 8.2 jailbreak at the event.
Considering that TaiG scheduled that jb summit for end of March it is likely that they will release a jb at that meeting (if they have one)

As we reported earlier, famous iOS hackers such as Comex, Chronic, P0sixninja, and Pimskeks will be speaking at the event, which is being organized by TaiG, the team responsible for jailbreaking iOS 8.1.1 and iOS 8.1.2.
The Mobile Security Summit, or MSS for short, is being dubbed as the Chinese version of the Worldwide Jailbreak Convention (JailbreakCon), which began in 2012.
Comex, Chronic, P0sixninja, and Pimskeks are listed as “panelists” in the MSS event, but they will all host keynotes regarding topics like security, the “anatomy of a jailbreak, and OpenJailbreak.org. Following each one, there will be a Q&A session.
iOS 8.2 is quite an important update for jailbreakers who are planning to buy the Apple Watch, as it adds support for Apple Watch via a companion app, so that is another reason why we’re eagerly waiting for the jailbreak.
TaiG had released a jailbreak for iOS 8.2 beta 1 and iOS 8.2 beta 2, however it was probably because Apple had not patched the exploits. This is mere speculations at this point, but the TaiG team has said they’re confident of releasing a jailbreak for iOS 8.2 when Apple it releases it publicly, so we hope that they do release the jailbreak at the event if not earlier.
Update 1 (March 27):
We’re hearing rumors (via reddit) that TaiG may release a jailbreak for iOS 8.2 today afternoon (March 27) at the MMS event in Beijing. But TaiG hasn’t mentioned anything so far, so seems speculative at this point. The event is going on currently going on, so we’ll keep you posted.
Update 2 (March 27):
Comex has confirmed that TaiG did not release the jailbreak at the MMS event today:
By the way, no – there wasn’t any jailbreak release today. ;p
