After Apple released iOS 9.3 to the masses, many found a bug that saw web links crashing unexpectedly after tapping them.
Apple said they would address the issue, and, sure enough, the company has officially released a new, updated version of the mobile operating system that primarily addresses this bug. The new software is version 9.3.1, and it’s available right now as an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
The release notes for the new software only reflect this specific change, but if anything else is discovered in the new software, we’ll update this post accordingly.
Apple has already released slightly tweaked versions of iOS 9.3 recently, both for iOS devices in general that were affected by an activation bug, and a specialized version for the iPad 2 as well, to address a similar bug.
