Apple gave a sneak peak of their next generation iPhone OS – iPhone OS 4.0 yesterday with more than 100 new features and 1500 new APIs and released iPhone OS 4.0 Beta to developers of its iPhone Developer program.
And not surprisingly, the iPhone Dev team has taken less than a day to jailbreak iPhone OS 4.0.
MuscleNerd from the iPhone Dev Team has announced the breaking news with the following tweet:
Something you'll only find on JB 4.0: VNC 🙂
He has also posted a video, which shows that he has managed to get Veency (a VNC server), a jailbreak app and Cydia to work on iPhone OS 4.0.
However, don’t expect iPhone Dev team to release tools to jailbreak iPhone OS 4.0 until the latest iPhone OS is released to users in summer.
MuscleNerd also recommends users to avoid betas:
BTW don't bother with betas, they're *very* buggy!
