That was quick. It has been less than two hours since Apple released iOS 8.4 with its highly anticipated Apple Music streaming service, and the hackers behind the PP Jailbreak tool have released a new version of their tool to jailbreak iOS 8.4.
PP jailbreak works with iOS 8.1.3, iOS 8.2, iOS 8.3 and now iOS 8.4. The hackers behind the PP Jailbreak tool had released a new version of their tool for iOS 8.1.3 – iOS 8.3, but the TaiG team had accused them of stealing their code.
It looks like iOS 8.4 does not patch the vulnerabilities used by the TaiG 2.x jailbreak, so the PP Jailbreak team have been able to release the updated jailbreak tool for iOS 8.4. So we can expect TaiG team to also release a new version of their tool to jailbreak iOS 8.4.
The PP jailbreak supports following iOS 8.3 – iOS 8.1.3 devices:
- iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S
- iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2
- iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad mini
- iPod touch 5G
PP jailbreak is currently available only for Windows. For now, Mac users will have to run Windows in a virtual machine to use the TaiG jailbreak.
You can download the latest version of PP Jailbreak tool from our PP Jailbreak download page. We would recommend waiting for the TaiG team to release TaiG jailbreak tool for iOS 8.4.
